What activities can you do during your stay at "Las Gachas" cottage? "Las Gachas" cottage is in a privileged place between Almeria and Murcia, which favors the proximity to many places of interest where you can perform many activities.
ACTIVITIES IN THE REMO CHANNEL
This channel was built to house the rowing competitions held at the 2005 Mediterranean Games and is currently used for different leisure activities, including kayak rental, paddlesurf, wakeboard, aquaglide mat park, ninja park, etc.
VERA WATER PARK
The water park consists of three different pools, a pool for the little ones with shallow depth so that they can enjoy without swimming, and with special slides for the little ones. A pool with artificial waves. And the lake pool, with progressive entrance to the water. As for slides it has the typical multitrack slides, the kamikaze (the highest of the facilities), closed slides, slide to launch with giant float, alone or in company and a couple of slides with turns. It also has a mini-golf for a fun family time.
PULPÍ GIANT GEODA
The Geode of Pilar de Jaravía, also called Pulpí Geode, is a giant geode located between the third and fourth level of exploitation of the Rica Mine, located on the eastern slope of the Sierra del Aguilón, in the municipality of Pulpí. It is the second largest geode in the world (after Naica's) and the largest in Europe, due to the existing environmental conditions in Naica, the Pulpí Geode is the only one in the world that can be visited without special equipment.
GOLF CLUB "DESERT SPRINGS"
Inspired by the famous desert courses of Arizona & California, The par 72 international championship Indiana course is the first desert course in Europe and has been built to full USGA specifications and the quality standards of these desert courses, now famous for the quality of golf that they offer. It presents unforgettable views, and golf of such a dramatic nature that it can be said to have taken not only desert golf, but also golf in general in this part of Spain to a new level of excellence.
GOLF COURSE "VALLE DEL ESTE"
The Golf Course Valle del Este was designed by José Canales in 2003 conserving the natural pre-desert environment where it is located so that the building has practically preserved the contour of the original property, and the natural flora in the area is not directly affected by the golf course holes. Each of the 18 holes of the golf course presents a different design, making each round a challenge for the players. As a consequence of this variety and design, our players will long remember the essence of Valle del Este.
DIVING
If you want to discover the marine treasures and enjoy the experience of diving, do not hesitate to visit the Isla Negra Diving Centers, in Villaricos, about 15 min. of "Las Gachas" cottage. Among its activities you can make: recreational dives, night dives, diving courses, diving baptisms, dive equipment rental, etc.
MOTORCYCLING
If you spend a few days in "Las Gachas" cottage, you can enjoy all the motorcycling just a few kilometers away. Moto Club 100 miles celebrates motorcycling championships in Europe, Spain and Andalusia in the modalities of Enduro, Trial, Cross Country, etc. Motor fans are in luck and can enjoy all the excitement of racing.
FLYBOARD AND EXCURSIONS IN JET-SKI
Atlantis Xtrem, located in the Marina of Garrucha, will offer all kinds of fun and activities on the beach and coast of Almeria. You can practice different activities such as: flyboard, Jet Ski excursions, paddle surfing, kitesurf courses, etc.
DREAMBEACH FESTIVAL
Dreambeach Festival is a multi-day festival with the best electronic music on the planet on the coast of Almeria. It normally takes place during the month of August at the Villaricos Beach (Cuevas del Almanzora)
BOAT TRAVELS
On the coast of Villaricos you can enjoy tourist cruises dedicated to the maritime transport of passengers.
